Went there for 3 nights and also came back for 2 more nights because the place has great facilites, staff (Amra, Mina and also one guy that I don't know is name) is offering great and nice service !
Room are nicely decorated, bed are confortable and the location is perfect to walk around the city but also to take the cable car or tours with Meet Bosnia (200 meters away) !
Mixed feelings. Location great and staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Sweet that they didn't charge my 1st night when I couldn't make it due to travel issues. Downsides: no reply to emails, no proper curtain in the room (it only covered half of the window so a lot of light in the room in the morning) and they put you in a different room than the one you booked (I didn't complain about that though). Booked with breakfast, they said it was not included. Atmosphere also not very social
The room and location was nice, other than the broken shower. The hostel says they offer breakfast, but they dont. They didnt mention this until after we had checked in, and this is very manipulative because I would have booked a different hostel. The staff does not have good customer service and is rude especially the older woman in charge with glasses and blond hair. My friend and I were in the kitchen and a mug fell from the overly full drying rack and then made us pay them cash for the mug.
When I was there the hostel was pretty empty, so I found the atmosphere to be kind of sad, especially since there are almost no windows with natural light. I have no real complaints about the facilities. It was clean and perfectly fine as a base to explore Sarajevo from. The staff were always helpful, if a bit cold. I suppose my main disappointment is that I expected more for the price. But overall a perfectly fine hostel.
Very bouije hostel! First Amra was amazing and could answer any question about Sarajevo, buses, etc and was so helpful and nice. The rooms were large, clean and cozy. The beds were also very comfortable and big. The breakfast is small, but it has eggs and itu2019s free, so still better than some Iu2019ve seen where Iu2019ve had to pay. All in all would stay here again, probably even better in peak season as itu2019s a little quieter in October.
